Large Commercial Loss in a Church

SERVPRO Town and Country was called to clean this large church as a referral from the insurance agency. SERVPRO has contracts with many insurance carriers to assure proper reporting and billing of flood damaged properties.

Because the damage was caused by flooding it was necessary to remove a lot of the material that held water. The first picture shows how the bare floor is exposed after the carpet and pad was removed. The floor is still wet from the cleaning and disinfecting.

The second picture sows metal studs which act like channels or troughs moving the flood water thought the building. The drywall then wicks up the water which in turn needs to be removed and replaced.
