Moldy Home in Houston, TX

The mold in this home grew because of a water damage that flooded all of the first floor. By the time SERVPRO of Town and Country were called a lot of the water had evaporated from the flooring.

When water evaporated the humid levels in the home caused mold to grow on the ceilings and walls which needed to be removed entirely by our mold remediation technicians.

Once the wet and moldy drywall was removed the ceilings were next to go. The second picture shows how the result of removing the mold and leaving behind the studs. The man in the photo is testing the area for mold to determine if the home is ready to repair.
